Get Some is the first single off Cure for the Common's third studio album "The Squeeze" dropping April 7th 2015.
The Squeeze is ever present. Time ticks quickly and quietly away as the pressure increases. The intensity of life is accelerating and we face the urgent necessity of decision... The result of action. We must greet the brink of disaster as the gift of opportunity and charge headlong into the unknown or surrender to the grip of the squeeze.
This album is the embodiment of the squeeze on all of our lives. It is a culmination of our love for music, art, family, friends, fans, each other, our planet, and humanity as a whole. It is an expression of our intent to use our art for action, and our desire to change the world for the better.

lyrics
Verse:
Get some rest, it’s fine.
But you best not waste your time.
Keep this in. Keep this in your mind.
Best not waste. Best not waste your time.
Chorus:
We’re headed for disaster
Old complacency our master
Slipping down and down this sliding slope
Let’s turn around.
Verse:
Keep this in. Keep this in your mind.
Seek and you will find
But you best not waste. Best not waste your time.
Keep this in. Keep this in your mind.
Chorus:
We’re headed for disaster
Nothing set in plaster
There’s still time, this ain’t no joke
Let’s turn around while there’s still hope
Cuz the future’s gaining faster
So let’s turn around.
“Sauropoda” defies description; one minute it’s funneling the sound of Afrobeat through synths, the next it’s floating off into space. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 28, 2019
Stunning, ragged-edged funk and soul—if you didn’t know this was new, it could be easily mistaken for a rarities comp from the late ’60s. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 20, 2017
